I AGREE.........

*Thanks Esther F. for this e-mail

It seems to get worse daily.
This is by a daughter of a murdered couple in
Raytown who had a Bible and Bookstore on 63rd street.

Just one more example:
When I had to testify at the murder trial of my
parents a week ago, I was asked to raise my right hand. The bailiff started
out”Do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth?"
I stood there and waited but she said nothing. She said "Do you?"
I was so stunned I blurted out "What happened to "so help me God'?"
She came back with "Do you?" I replied yes, but I was perplexed.
Then the judge said................ "You can say that if you want to."
I stopped, raised my right hand, and finished with "So help me God!"
I told my son and daughter that when it came time or them to testify, they should do the same.

It's no wonder we have so many problems in this country. If I'd had my wits about me I’d have told them that taking God out of the courtroom is only going to result in more criminals and murderers like him being in there! I don't know what can be done about it, but it's time we stepped up and did something.
NBC this morning had a poll on this question. They had the highest number of responses that they have ever had for one of their polls, and the percentage was the same as this: 86% to keep the words, 14% against. That is a pretty 'commanding' public response.

I was asked to send this on if I agreed or delete if I didn’t.
Now it is your turn... It is said that 86% of Americans believe in God.
Therefore, I have a very hard time understanding why there is such a mess about having "In God We Trust" on our money and having God in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Why don't we just tell the 14% to Sit Down and SHUT UP!!!
If you agree, pass this on, if not, simply delete....

In God We Trust

There is a time where you need to say Sit Down and Shut Up. There is many people that want there to be peace in the world but also want God out of the picture. Well I have to say to them Sit Down and Shut Up. the only way there will ever be peace and no crime, will be when everyone accepts Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Wheather it sounds Christian or American is not the issue here.

Just to clarify the limp wristed Christians. These are people that call themselves Christians, but live for the world. These people are not to call themselves Christians, because they do not follow Christ. They want all the blessings, but no commitment to Jesus. I can say that because the word Christian means: Christ Like or A follower of Jesus Christ.

I agree with the Sit Down and Shut Up. There are too many people in this world and thing are getting out of hand again. Once you take God out of everything you end up with nothing but turmoil and corruption. People are forgetting why we are here and how nothing goodcan be accomplished withut GOd. They just want to put their opinions in the wrong places. We need God back were he belongs or things will just get worse

I disagree very strongly that the test of anyone's Christianity should be administered by another human being. We are all imperfect in many ways. Individuals who presume to strip others of their "Christianity points" would be well advised to take a closer look at themselves and their own relationship with God. The bible is not a weapon to beat others down with. (Whether you are directly speaking to someone or justing ripping their relationship with the Lord to shreds in your own head.) Each individual has a unique walk with God that will undoubtedly have different levels of strength during their lifetime. The awesome power of God includes an overwhelming level of love and forgiveness that allows every person to make mistakes. DO NOT kick God's children when they are down by allowing them to believe they are stripped of their salvation. We are all children of God. Why wouldn't we all treat God's children with the same respect, empathy, and forgiveness that we would treat our own child with?

Wait a minute; did you just say Christianity points? That is where the problem is. There is no such thing as Christianity points. You are either a Christian or not, there is no in betweens. You cannot enter Heaven by your good works alone. Read John chapter 3, there you will see what Jesus said. If it was by your good works, Jesus would have never had to die for our sins. It is true to say that awesome power of God includes an overwhelming level of love and forgiveness that allows every person to make mistakes, but God is a Jealous God and one of Judgment. It is not kicking God’s children down when they are down; it is simply showing them that if they do not have Jesus Christ in their life as Lord and Savior they will not make Heaven their home. It is true that we are all God’s children, but those that want Him out of everything will get that when they’re in hell burning for eternity. THAT IS A FACT. The good thing is that if they accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior they do not have to worry about that, no matter what type of life they lived before accepting Him as Lord. So I say repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand. There are too many people that think they are Christians just because they go to a church. Let me tell you, it is not the church that makes you a Christian, it is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

God Bless

To Listen is one thing, but to listen to excusses on why some are the way they are is not worth hearing.
This is in response to what Anonymous said...
